A Writer's Paradise now offers songwriters
and other publishers access to official "lead" sheets updated the first week
of each month. "Lead" sheets are emails / newsletters which tell you the
inside Nashville scoop on exactly which record labels / artists /
and publishing companies are seeking songs this month. Also known as a
"tip sheet", they tell you exactly who to contact, how, and when each month.
Rather than sending your unsolicited demos to companies and artists who are
not expecting them, this list gives you updated contact info and exact
mailing instructions for artists who are actively seeking songs and your demos will NOT go
to waste or get thrown in the trash! Your demo will be "c/o" or "in
attention to" the exact contact person who's awaiting your submission.
In most cases, email addresses are given for easy solicitation. Why sit on a great song if
there's others out there looking for 'em? For less than any of your bills
that don't have opportunity knocking after you pay for them, you can get a
list each month that tells you if Faith Hill, Gretchen Wilson,
Brad Paisley, Travis Tritt, or any new artist in today's country, Christian,
gospel, or rock - is openly looking for new songs.
